Personal property will be released by appointment only. An appointment can be made by contacting the Baxter Police Department during normal business hours, M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please call (218) 454-5090, for an appointment.

Copies of accident/police reports can be obtained from the Baxter Police Department during normal business hours, M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please call (218) 454-5090, with any questions.
Parking Tickets
In person by bringing the parking ticket and fine amount to the Baxter Police Department, 13190 Memorywood Drive, Baxter, MN 56425. Hours are: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed legal holidays and weekends.
To pay by mail, send your check, money order or certified check to: Baxter Police Department, 13190 Memorywood Drive, Baxter, MN 56425.
Time Limit
You have 72 hours from the date the ticket is issued to pay the fine which is shown on the citation (weekends and holidays are counted). After 72 hours, the ticket will be forwarded for prosecution.
Traffic Citations
You will have until the date shown on the citation to appear in court or to pay the fine, which is established by the court. If you have any questions about a traffic citation issued to you, call the court at 218-824-1310.
Paying The Fines
Fines can be paid in person or by check mailed along with the citation to the, Crow Wing County Court Administrators Office, Courthouse, 213 Laurel St. Brainerd, MN 56401 (218)824-1310. Court Appearance If you are unable to appear in court on the scheduled date, you can contact the Court Administrators Office, (218)82401310. Fix-It Citations Citations for faulty equipment can be dismissed by the Baxter Police Department. You are responsible to insure that the Baxter Police Dept. receives the proper proof of correction. The Baxter Police Dept. will provide you with proof of correction after you have corrected the violation.
