Oscar Kristofferson Park - 5672 Baxter Lions Rd

Oscar Kristofferson Park is located on Baxter Lions Rd (behind Baxter Elementary School) also called Baxter City Park.

There is a Pavilion with kitchen for picnic use that may be used and reserved by calling Baxter City Hall at 218-454-5100 or by filling out this form. The Park contains four ball fields, hockey and open skating rink.

Loren Thompson Park - 13015 Kingwood Dr

Located in the Parkwood Addition, Loren Thompson Park has a ball field and hockey rink with area available for open skating. There is also a pavilion for picnics and may be reserved by calling Baxter City Hall at 218-454-5100 or by filling out this form.

Southdale Park and Soccer Fields - 12599 Mountain Ash Dr

Located one-half mile South of Hwy 210 on County Rd #48. Southdale Park contains a playground, two soccer fields and picnic area.

Whipple Beach - 14441 Oakwood Dr

Baxter’s public beach area located at Whipple Lake opens in mid-June. Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week beginning at 11 am. There is also a picnic area and fishing pier available.

Berrywood Park - 13199 Berrywood Dr

Berrywood Park is located on Berrywood Dr, between College Rd and Highland Scenic Rd (County Rd #48). It contains a playground, ball field, tennis court, basketball court and picnic area.
